State of game development (10/3/2022)

status update for furr-tec.

Pre-Production has started as of august, here are a few things that have happened since then.

Story team has been hard at work at creating a unique story with many different posibilties to branch off into other chapters similar to Horizon Forbidden West,

Technological area of the game updates, we have done many behind the scene improvements to mechanics, improved controller support based on feedback from the concept, improved bot A.I. to be less stupid, improved Floof bones IK, Started on prototyping modular vehicles similar to TerraTech.

Early prototyping: Modular vehicles, Modular robotics building (build your own companion), Floof IK V2.2, Floof Vehicles v2, shop system, currency system, Kade Island (home of furr-tec story mode), Floofy Desert, Fluid Dynamics (fluid base simulation for Oceans, fluid transporation (pipes), and puzzle like valves.

Milestone scheduling: we hope to have the following done by the end of the month;

  • Floof Vehicles v2 (more vehicle selections, a prototype Sci-Fi vehicle with terrain test (working suspension simulation))
  • Floofy Desert map preview v1.0
  • Fixes to Shop, and currency system
  • Character selection preview v1.1
  • and lastly Fluid Dynamics v1 showcase demo

Next up (Prototyping / Technological area); (in the middle of october)

  • Boss demolition (mechanical parts fall off like in Horizon Zero Dawn/Forbidden West)
  • early preview for combat system
  • early preview for health system
  • Pre-Production for portal teleportation and a short demo for music in worlds/scene menu.
